Leggings That Help You Lose Weight?!

Okay, so we’ve heard about plenty of miracle diets, fat-burning shakes, waist-whittling detox diets, and workouts that supposedly make you shed inches instantly. But, color us surprised to learn about the latest way to get fit—without dieting or exercising. All you have to do is wear leggings. For reals.

Apparently, these new Slim-Tech leggings help speed up fat loss, flatten your stomach, reduce muscle fatigue, smooth cellulite, and moisturize your gams all that the same time. Sound like something you’d never want to take off? Good. Because, to see results, the company suggests wearing them eight hours a day for six days, then giving the leggings a rest at the end of each week.

Here’s how they allegedly work: Basically, the leggings’ fabric fibers contain microcapsules filled with copaiba, which tones and moisturizes, red algae, which stimulates fat burning, and sophora japonica, which makes skin smooth. When worn, the friction between the leggings and your skin break open the microcapsules and disperse these ingredients. You can wash the leggings up to 30 times before the capsules are used up.

While we like the idea of slimming down just by getting dressed in the morning, we’re kinda skeptical of too-easy weight loss solutions. Plus, on a scale of one to totally rank, how smelly do you think these babies would be after six straight days of wear?
